Elm House is a family dentistry run by James Whitehead and Greg Coffey. Our ethos is simple: to provide our patients with quality care and dentistry based on prevention - and to treat patients in the way we would wish to be treated ourselves; with care, expertise, kindness and integrity. We want to make your experience of visiting the dentist as pleasurable as possible.

James Whitehead

James qualified in 1989 in in London at Guy's Hospital, and worked as a house surgeon in the Maxillo-Facial surgery department. He practised as an associate for four years in Uckfield before joining Elm House. James bought the practice in 1999 which he now runs with his wife Nicky Clemmence. James enjoys the full range of dentistry from placing implants to tooth whitening.

His interests include golf, skiing, motorcycling, windsurfing and go-karting. Nicky and James have two daughters.

Greg Coffey

Grey qualified as a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Cardiff University in 2013 and has proved to be a valuable addition to Elm House.

Proficient in all the skills required to provide top-quality dental care, Greg is particularly keen on preventive treatments.

With a broad range of interests and a cheerful manner, Greg is particularly popular with our younger clients.
